The practice manager you haven’t hired yet.

Each morning: the sessions still empty, the money still owed, the treatment plans gone quiet. Read only, with no patient names.

Dentally tells you what already happened. You need to know what’s about to.

Most practices can see last month’s production. Few can see, on a Tuesday, that next Thursday afternoon is three hours empty, that a quarter of the money invoiced hasn’t arrived, or that thirty proposed treatment plans have never been started.

A practice manager would tell you all of that every morning. If you don’t have one yet, this does the watching.

Less finding out late. More acting early.

What you get, in the order an owner usually needs it.

  1. Fill the empty afternoon before it happens.

Every working day ahead is checked against your own standard for unused time. The biggest gaps are ranked by size and by how soon they fall, so you know which one to fill first.

See it in the Diary view
  2. Know who owes you, without opening accounts one by one.

The biggest balances come first, with how long it has been since the last payment. Each one is shown by Dentally reference number, so you can open it straight in Dentally.

See it in the Finances view
  3. Find the treatment that was proposed and never started.

Treatment plans with real money still to do, split into never started and started then gone quiet, with what is left on each. Plans that were finished but never closed are counted separately.

See it in the Finances view
  4. See what cancellations really cost.

Lost appointments by clinician, by day and by how much notice was given. The cancelled slots still empty. And whether your short-notice fees actually reached an invoice.

See it in the Cancellations view
  5. Learn whether patients come back after the exam.

Of the patients you examine, how many attend their next treatment visit, by clinician. Plus what each booked hour earns.

See it in the Growth view
  6. Know where new patients come from, and who isn’t recording it.

Where each new patient says they heard of you, with a short list of records for reception to fix. A marketing decision is only as good as the habit behind it.

Four questions it answers every day

Open a tab. Each view is built to answer one thing a practice owner actually asks.

The next six weeks, day by day. The biggest gaps are ranked by size and by how soon they fall, so you know which to fill first. Closures and bank holidays come from Dentally, so a closed day is never counted as empty.

Sample practice, sample figures. Not real data.

Start the day knowing the one thing to do first.

The site opens on a welcome screen with the time, the date and the first job on your list. Scroll, swipe or tap and it lifts away to show the rest.

On weekdays a short summary also arrives on your phone before you open the practice. It carries no patient details, and no pound figures unless you ask for them.

Both views here are drawn for this page with sample content.

Handled with care, because it is your patients’ practice.

It only reads. The software makes read requests to Dentally and never writes. It cannot move a booking or change an invoice.

  • No patient names. None are stored and none are shown. Where a list needs a patient, it shows Dentally’s reference number, which opens the record in Dentally.
  • Your own private copy. It is built so each practice has its own site, its own sign-ins and its own figures, kept apart from every other practice.
  • Messages stay plain. Phone summaries carry no patient details. Figures stay behind your sign-in.
  • This page keeps nothing about you. No cookies, no analytics, no tracking.

Made inside a working private practice.

It started as a question an owner kept asking: how full are we going to be? Every view was built, checked against Dentally’s own figures and argued over in a real practice, for owners who don’t have a practice manager yet.

Be one of the first practices on it.

  1. You write to us. A few lines about your practice is plenty.
  2. We reply personally. Then a short first call, about twenty minutes, to see whether it fits.
  3. If it does, we connect it to your Dentally account, read only, and you see your own figures.

We’re opening to a small number of private practices on Dentally.
